Swim Lesson Registration
Swim lesson registrations are taken on a first-come, first serve basis via online registration and walk-in. Resident online registration opens at 8 a.m. on the session registration dates listed. Resident walk-in registration is available from 8 to 10 a.m. at the California Oaks Sports Park Pool on the session registration date (now on Friday).
Online non-resident registration will begin at 8 a.m. on the Saturday following resident registration. All other registrations will be taken after the registration dates online or walk-in at the California Oaks Sports Park Pool during office hours.
An Example of Why Online Registration is Recommended
A person at home could register for their desired class at 8 a.m. exactly and not have to wait in line. Someone that waited in line may be the 4th person in line but by the time it was their turn to register all the spots in their desired class could be taken by people who registered at home.
Classes that are canceled for reasons out of our control (weather, contaminations, etc.) will not be refunded. All classes must have a minimum of three registrants. Classes that don't meet the minimum registration will be canceled and an attempt to place those registrants into another class will be made. Participants not placed in another class will be refunded.
Swim lessons are all designated to a specific registration date; be sure you have the correct registration date. Registration dates apply to online registrations. Residents may register in person on the dates listed at the California Oaks Pool Office from 8 to 10 a.m.; however, online registration is strongly encouraged.
Swim lesson levels and descriptions are generic and actual class instruction may not cover all skills listed in the description due to a swimmer's ability. All course instruction could be modified to accommodate the skill level of a particular class.
