Economic Development is one of the highest priorities for Murrieta, focusing on the growth of high-technology businesses and promoting the creation of new quality jobs in the community. We recognize that strong, local solutions are needed to grow startup technology companies and that there is a need for a business incentive program which includes access to low-cost space and mentoring programs so startup technology companies can focus on their growth.
Murrieta saw an opportunity at our former City Hall for the creation of a Murrieta Regional Technology Innovation Center (“Innovation Center”), which provides low-cost space for approved startup health technology companies, along with the business resources needed to foster their growth. Companies located in this facility are required to relocate from the Innovation Center after a set period of time, to a privately owned space in the community – thereby helping to create and grow companies locally and then creating the space for additional new startup health technology companies within the Innovation Center.
For more information about the Innovation Center, or to obtain an application, please contact Bruce Coleman or Heather Rawlings, City of Murrieta Economic Development Department (951) 304-2489 or see our website: www.innovatemurrieta.com
