 | Public Works MaintenanceThe City of Murrieta Street Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining City rights-of-way such as street pavement, curbs and gutters, concrete sidewalks, traffic striping, traffic control signs, storm water drainage and litter control, as well as coordination of City-planned special events.
In carrying out the above objectives, this Department ensures that the NPDES (National Pollution Discharge Elimination System) program is actively ongoing and current. This is an important enviromental requirement to which all cities must adhere for prevention of urban runoff and maintaining clean oceans.
