Firefighters responded to a structure fire at 39911 Pearl Drive to find smoke coming from a garage. Residents had used a garden hose in an attempt to fight the fire prior to the arrival of crews.
Ten firefighters confined the fire to the garage and inspected the area behind the drywall to look for hidden fire.
The cause of the fire appeared to be from radio controlled charging equipment Damage was estimated to be $24,000 with $20,000 being from structural damage and $4,000 in contents.
