Doug McAllister believes it is the primary job of a City Councilmember to create, protect and continually improve the city's Quality of Life. From committee assignments representing the City to his community involvement, Doug has dedicated himself to public service. His vision of improving the Quality of Life in Murrieta includes two areas of emphasis: Providing the highest level of Public Safety and ensuring visionary Economic Development. By fostering Entrepreneurial Leadership, coupled with a commitment to "Build Bridges, Not Walls," the City of Murrietacontinues to lead the region by example. As a result of the partnership of his valued colleagues on the dais, Murrieta remains a GREAT PLACE TO GROW.
Personal bio:
Along with his wife Miriam and children, Doug has been a resident of Murrieta since 1995, and has lived in the area since 1987. A former pastor and successful small business owner, today Doug is an executive for a multi-national technology company. He holds a Bachelors and a Masters Degree. It was Doug's commitment to community service that led him to the Council dais, where he is most honored to continue serving you.
