FREE CHESS DEMO AND PRESENTATION

Murrieta, CA – September 28, 2009 – The City of Murrieta Community Services Department invites you to a FREE Chess presentation on Tuesday, September 29^th at 7:00 PM at the Murrieta Senior Center. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about one of the world’s most popular games.

Instructor Mihai Harabor, ICCF Master rated and member of the US Chess Federation, will be teaching basic Chess courses beginning October 6^th. Classes are 90 minutes of interactive learning using power point presentations, printed materials, puzzles, and more. In the basic class, students will learn how to move, capture, and plan while understanding combinations, checkmate, and more. Advanced classes will begin in January.

Adults as well as children are invited to the presentation and Mr. Harabor will be available to answer any questions regarding the classes. You don’t want to miss this presentation so please join us Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
