Looking for something to do on a Friday night? Come beat the heat and have a sesh at the Cal Oaks Skate Park on the last friday of every month. The park is lit up and open to skate until 10pm. Prepackaged candy and drinks are on sale. Door prizes are given away and mini competitions happen throughout the night.
Admission for members is $3, Non members are $5.
General Info
The Skate Park at the California Oaks Sports Park was reopened May 2008 after a brief closure due to participant issues. Since then the skate park has been revamped to provide a fun and save environment for participants of all ages. A City employee is on site at all times to ensure all participants entering the park are members and have the required equipment to ride in the skate park.
All participants will be required to fill out a participation application. Minor participants will be required to a have parent and/or guardian complete and sign the application. All applications must be filled out at the California Oaks Sports Park Skate Park. For fees see below.
All participants regardless of age are required to wear proper safety gear. At a minimum, this includes helmets, knee pads and elbow pads. No Exceptions
Skate Park Pads Rule
Any person utilizing a public skate park facility must wear a helmet, elbow pads and kneepads. All such gear must be functional, protective, properly sized and designed for their intended use at the skate park facility. An adult must supervise every person using the skate park facility who is under the age of fourteen. The director may set forth any other rules and regulations for the use of a public skate park facility which he/she deems appropriate, provided that signs describing such rules and regulations are placed and posted pursuant to Section 12.20.070. Hard plastic caps, for skateboard/ scooter knee pads and elbow pads, offer the most impact and abrasion protection. All pads must have at least a of an inch thickness of padding, properly secured within itself as well as to the skater's body according to manufacturing specifications. Skateboard/ scooter pads may not be modified in any way. They must be properly fitting, which is determined by the skate park staff.

- DAY PASS- $ 5 Day Pass Fee - Residents and Nonresidents
