Welcome to the Youth Advisory Committee Home Page

The YAC is proud to be a represent of the youth of Murrieta. YAC members are required to attend monthly meetings that include leadership skills training, social gatherings and youth event planning. The YAC is responsible for offering numerous events throughout the year geared to their peers. One YAC representative also serves on the Community Services Commission in order for the youth of Murrieta to have representation regarding the services CSD offers.

Youth Art Showcase

May 19th 2012

The City of Murrieta’s Youth Advisory Committee and Murrieta’s Gem of the Valley Art Association will be hosting an inaugural Youth Art Showcase on Saturday May 19th. Are you an artist that wants to be a part of a real deal art show? Come and share your talent on a night full of family, friends and fun! We are searching for artists of every visual art medium from the ages of 12-18.

YAC Meeting Dates

Meetings Have Been Moved to the Senior Center

Meetings will be held the first Tuesday of every month.

If interested in attending please contact us to confirm meeting space and time.

Applications for the 2012-2013 school year will be available in July.

The City of Murrieta Community Service Department is looking for A few GREAT people to help VOLUNTEER for numerous city-wide events!

Duties of volunteering may include (but are not limited to): Assisting with set-up,interaction with the public,handing out information,Providing positive atmosphere, running game booths, assisting with clean-up, and having a GREAT time.
