Incident Summary

On June 15, 2009 at 1845 hours, the Radio Shack located in the 24000 block of Cal Oaks Rd. was robbed by a male Hispanic adult and two female Hispanic adults.  The male Hispanic was in possession of a handgun and told the clerk "this is a robbery, I have a gun".  The suspects took money from the register and merchandise from the store.  The suspects were seen getting into a waiting silver vehicle and fleeing the seen.  One of the females was later identified by her fingerprints as 22 year old Yasmin Elizabeth Tinoco. 

 

On July 16, 2009, Murrieta Detective Jeff Ullrich received information that Yasmin Tinoco was living in the City of Apple Valley, in San Bernardino County.  Detective Ullrich arrested Yasmin Tinoco at 1230 hours in a residence located in Apple Valley.  Yasmin Tinoco was transported to the Murrieta Police Department and admitted to the robbery.  Yasmin Tinoco was found to be in possession of one of the stolen cell phones from the Radio Shack robbery.

 

The investigation is continuing in an attempt to locate the other two suspect's involved in the robbery.
