At 1112 hours Officers from the Murrieta Police Department responded to the Ralphs Grocery Store at 40473 Murrieta Hot Springs Road reference a bank robbery occurring at the U.S. Bank inside the store. Officers arrived on scene and found the suspects had fled in a dark blue Chevy Suburban. The vehicle was located by officers, unoccupied, one block away. Investigation revealed the Suburban was stolen out of Los Angeles County. The suspects dumped the stolen suburban and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
Investigation revealed the suspects entered the bank just after 1100 hours. The suspects are described as 3 Black or Hispanic males, wearing ski masks and gloves, likely 20 to 30 years old. While one of the suspects acted as a look out, the other two approached the U.S. Bank office. One of the suspects jumped the counter, while the other entered through the bank door. Once behind the counter, they demanded money and brandished a simulated handgun.
All 3 suspects were last seen running out the front of the Ralphs and getting into the waiting dark blue Suburban. It is unknown if there is a loss at this time.
