Incident Summary

At about 1720 hours, Corporal Bob Anderson responded to the Silverado Apartments at 25100 Vista Murrieta in reference to a two-year old male wandering the complex parking lot.  Corporal Anderson found the toddler and the toddler's second floor apartment with no care-givers present.  A one-year old female was also left unattended inside the apartment.  The mother had left her children unattended in the apartment to go visit friends about two hours earlier.

Crystal ANDERSON, 24 years of age, was arrested for felony child neglect and booked at Southwest Jail.  CPS assisted in the investigation and the children were taken into protective custody.
