On 9/18/2009 at 0249 hours Murrieta Police Officers responded to the Denny's restaurant at 25365 Madison Avenue to investigate an armed robbery. A Denny's employee called 911 and reported the restaurant was just robbed by 2 males wearing bandanas over their faces. Upon arrival, Officers discovered the suspects had fled the area on foot, west through the parking lot. No vehicle was seen. The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect #1
Hispanic Male 5'10" 180 pounds wearing a black beanie cap and blue bandana over face
Grey long sleeve shirt, blue baggy jeans and gloves
Armed with a semi automatic handgun w/ scope
Suspect #2
Hispanic Male 5'8" 180 pounds wearing a blue beanie cap and blue bandana over face
Blue sweatshirt and black baggy jeans
Armed with a semi automatic handgun
Suspect #1 demanded money from the cash register while pointing his weapon at the employee. No employees were injured and the loss is unknown at this time. Anyone in the area around this time frame is encouraged to call the Murrieta Police Department at 951-696-3615. |
