Incident Summary

On Friday October 30^th, 2009 the Murrieta Police Department Juvenile Investigations Team along with an Investigator from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (A.B.C.) conducted a Minor Decoy Operation.  This operation is funded by a California State grant that was awarded to the Murrieta Police Department.

Two teenage decoys went to 20 different establishments that are licensed by the City of Murrieta to sell alcoholic beverages.  None of the 20 establishments sold alcoholic beverages to the minor decoys. The Murrieta Police Department will continue to conduct future minor decoy operations to discourage the furnishing of alcoholic beverages to minors.
