The Murrieta Police Department provides comprehensive anti-drug educational programs in the middle and elementary schools within the Murrieta Valley Unified School District. This includes a sixteen (16) week D.A.R.E. program presented each spring to all fifth grade classrooms in the elementary schools.
D.A.R.E. has several community and corporate sponsors who provide financial assistance during our annual D.A.R.E. Golf Tournament held each spring. Red Ribbon Week is drug awareness program for all elementary and middle school students, presented for a week during the month of October.
